Glances is a useful command line utility written in python to quickly get various information about your system. It’s like top on steroids giving you network usage, mount point info and more on top of load, cpu, memory.
Glances is available in the EPEL repo. We can install the EPEL yum repo configuration and signature keys from their RPM package.
Note: URL will change as they release new versions. The version here should work for a while even if outdated, but you should probably update it after installing just to verify you're getting the latest versions of the packages.
yum install http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/x86_64/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm -y
yum update epel-release -y
yum -y install glances
Simply running glances from the command line will bring up a nice interface.
